I recently read a post on one of the blogs I follow - www.lifeingraceblog.com - where the writer talked of the Good Samaritan story. If you're like me, I was raised to believe that the story spoke to how I was to treat others. Stoopid Me!! (slap up side the head) It's NOT about ME - it's ABOUT JESUS!! HE IS THE GOOD SAMARITAN, BUT MORE!! I am the one, lying on the side of the road, beaten-bleeding-without hope because of my sin. Jesus came, picked me up, tended my wounds, paid for my needs. JESUS is the good samaritan, not me. The following video, with Tim Keller, says it so well. Enjoy!
